Florida Fall

We went to the Pumpkin Patch at the local Christmas Tree Farm... I know - I was surprised too. Pumpkins at the tree place? There was a petting zoo, a haypile to jump in, a zip line, bounce pillow, hayride, maze, pony rides and reasonably priced pumpkins to boot!

Some nice stranger took the camera and offered to shoot a family photo instead of my intended kids-only shot. Naturally at that exact moment, the sun was perfectly positioned to glare off my giant stomach and blind innocent passers-by... :)

Still - its a memory. I am thankful for it. Really!!

My little tribe in the haypile. Thing2's model pose cracks me up. Thing3 looks like he'd rather be any where but there, when actually he was having a blast, but trying to take a picture of all 4 of them looking in the general direction of the camera while avoiding any photobombing stranger's kids is a little difficult. So we take what we can get!

And if you are not a local reading this blog, welcome to the fall season in Florida. Its the middle of October and shorts are still required for comfort when outside, air conditioners are still running and sweat still happens nearly immediately when stepping outside. And its like that even if you aren't pregnant. :)
